Renault released the kettle in honor of the 40th anniversary of the start of performances in Formula 1
Forty years ago, Renault began to compete in Formula 1 on the RS01 racing cars that were revolutionary for their time. The French auto giant was the first to use a turbocharged engine in “royal racing”. True, the motor was very unreliable, the riders often ended the race ahead of time, whose cars threw out clouds of white smoke and stopped in the middle of the track. For this, team leader Ken Tyrrell even called RS01 “Yellow Teapots”.
In honor of the round date and in honor of the RS01, Renault released a yellow teapot in the colors of the factory team. Moreover, the designers tried to give it a Formula 1 car. The nose is made in the shape of the front wing, and the top resembles the cockpit of a racing car.
These kettles will be used in the restaurant of the company Atelier Renault, and 50 pieces will be sold through the online store for $ 145 each.
