Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery: history, production, production
Novoshakhtinsky refinery - oil refineryin the Rostov region, located north-west of Novoshakhtinsk. The young enterprise, founded in 2005, belongs to the class of mini-refineries. The list of products includes ship, diesel and heating oil, fuel oil, gasoline.
With a decrease in the share of coal in the fuel sector andstep-by-step transition of a number of metallurgical and other industries to electricity, the production of solid hydrocarbons is being reduced everywhere. The miners and employees of the service organizations became hostages to the situation: dismissal and loss of income were a serious problem for the coal-mining regions. In 2004, the regional administration of the Rostov region adopted a resolution on the priority development of the Russian part of Donbass.
One of the promising projects that allowedemploy almost 2000 people (not counting service companies), was the construction of the Novoshakhtinsk refinery. Construction work on the construction of the first stage began in late 2004. By October 2009, the main works were completed, and the refinery started processing oil products.
As part of the expansion of the range of productsIn 2014, production of road bitumen of high quality was started. The new shop at the Novoshakhtinsky refinery is capable of delivering 700,000 tons of products annually to customers. Characteristics of Rostov bitumen can significantly extend the life of the asphalt pavement.
In 2015, a phased introduction of the second phaseNovoshakhtinsk oil refinery. The new oil distillation unit of the ELOU-AVT series has a capacity of 2,500,000 tons of oil per year. After it was commissioned, the capacity of the NNPZ doubled - up to 5,000,000 tons.
The enterprise does not have its own developedmarketing network, so it is important to be efficient in servicing partners purchasing for sale of petroleum products. A railway branch line and a high-quality road have been added to the plant. In order to expand the geography of transportation of finished products, a cargo terminal was built on the Don. It allows servicing the tanker with a load capacity of 5000 tons of river / sea class.
Oil mostly comes from the mainpipeline in the Rodionovskaya-Sukhodolnaya section, operated by Transneft. Also hydrocarbons can be delivered in tanks by rail.
Novoshakhtinsky refinery was put into operation insecond half of 2009. In the same year, the refinery processed 464,000 tons of oil, in 2010 production reached 1,910,000 tons. The company produces mainly fuel oil (38 percent in the structure of petroleum products in 2010), diesel fuel (25 percent) and naphtha (21 percent).
Another 12% accounted for various secondaryoil products. Among them, the most common are furnace and marine fuels, which, by their characteristics, are close to diesel fuel, but differ from it with an increased sulfur content. Also, technological export fuel and vacuum gas oil are produced. The number of employees exceeds 1500 people.
NNPZ offers its partners the following products of oil refining:
- Petrol is industrial.
- Naftu (straight-run export gasoline).
- Diesel fuel of class L-0.2-62 / 40.
- Ship fuel of three types: DMA (DMA), RMZ (RMG 380) and RMF (RMF 180).
- Fuel oil grade furnace series 40 and 100.
- Fuel furnace.
Novoshakhtinskiy refinery realizes almost allproduced fuel oil in the domestic market. Diesel fuel, heating oil and SMT produced at mini-refineries are in demand on the domestic market due to the flexible price policy of the enterprise. Unlike the VINK (large associations), a small company reacts more quickly to changes in the Russian spot market situation for oil products.
An important factor in selling is price policy. Many industrial enterprises and agricultural producers continue to use obsolete equipment, for which the high sulfur content of diesel fuel is not a problem. On the contrary, the price of fuel for such consumers is usually the most significant criterion. NNPZ offers products slightly cheaper than large companies, which is beneficial to all.
According to government requirements, all refinerieswere required to modernize the capacity for fuel production at first the Euro-4 standard, and by the end of 2015, Euro-5. However, not all companies have enough funds for large-scale reconstruction. Claims were expressed and the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery.
The management of the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery has assured thatwork is moving forward. A contract has been concluded with Chinese partners ready to finance the project. The Administration plans to build the next stage to ensure the depth of oil processing to 95% and bring the quality of products to the norms of "Euro-5".
Even at the planning stage, the enterprises werelaid down standards designed to radically reduce harmful emissions. The system of treatment plants uses the latest technologies for trapping and neutralizing hazardous substances that inevitably form at chemical industry enterprises.
The treatment complex consists of:
- Of the two systems for recycling water.
- Filtering zones.
- A site for water treatment with reagents.
- A site of physico-mechanical cleaning.
- Flotation zones and ultraviolet disinfection.
- Pescottus device.
- Oil traps.
- Oil sludge processing plants.
Protective measures are designed to prevent contamination of the waters and soils of the region.
