The war against fascism

Personal life

He was married twice. The first time he got married during the Civil War. In 1944, his wife died at the front. She was a major medical officer. His elder son Victor followed in the footsteps of his father and fought at the front. He rose to the rank of Lieutenant-General of Artillery.
