How is the birth of a new life in a person?
The peculiarity of the structure of the female body allows you to create up to 500 eggs ready for fertilization in a lifetime. The ovulation occurring once a month makes this possibility quite real. Especially if two people enjoyed sex without using any contraceptives.
So, during ovulation, the egg leaves the ovary and goes through the abdominal cavity into the fallopian tubes. Here it can be only 24 hours. That is how much time the sperm has to achieve the desired goal. Therefore, they have their own special system of survival, which allows them to be in the body of a woman for up to 7 days. At the same time, they are all fully capable and ready, if necessary, to take action. As soon as the egg cell manages to meet that single spermatozoon, which could connect with it, fertilization of the egg cell occurs.
But this does not mean that pregnancy has come, because these twohaving become one, it is worth going the hard way, at the end of which they are awaited by the long-awaited peace in specially prepared conditions. Indeed, after the egg in the ovary, a yellow body forms, which begins the active process of progesterone synthesis. It is this hormone that allows pregnancy to occur.
After the male and female cells connect, their nuclei merge to form a complete set of chromosomes. This is the formation of zygotes. From it in the future and will develop a full-fledged person. Within three days, this egg, in which the process of cell division is actively taking place, is sent to the uterus. After getting there, the zygote already contains 250 cells and possesses a surface with villi, thanks to which it can later attach to the uterine epithelium. After the fertilized egg merges with the circulatory system existing inside the uterus, the production of a hormone begins, which is a clear sign of pregnancy - human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
Definition of conception and pregnancy
After the process of fertilization of the egg and the attachment of the zygote to the uterus is successful, the period of pregnancy begins.And if there are no signs of fertilization of the egg as such, then pregnancy can be assumed even before the onset of menstruation.
However, sometimes you can feel the process of implantation of the embryo in the epithelium of the uterus. Most often this is indicated by a small bleeding from the genital tract. The reason for this is minimal damage to the blood vessels during implantation. But it can not be noticed. Often, such discharge and other symptoms are a sign of any gynecological disease.
And just a few days after implantation and before it becomes known about the delay of menstruation, the first signs of pregnancy may appear. It is important to understand that we describe only indirect symptoms that only indicate the possibility of pregnancy. The final diagnosis you have to put a doctor.
For example, you may be tormented by weak pains in the lower abdomen, which over time will begin to give to the back. Such symptoms, however, can signal the presence of problems with the urogenital system or the digestive tract organs. If you have noticed a tendency to changeability of moods and states that abruptly replace each other for no particular reason, then this can also be a symptom of the onset of pregnancy.
In situations where no matter how much you slept, sleep is still desirable for you, it may turn out that you have already become a potential mother and the pregnancy has begun. Such drowsiness and rapid fatigue, even from a light load can mean pregnancy.
You can judge the development of the embryo inside, if you could feel the changes in the area of the mammary glands. Their swelling or excessive sensitivity, sore nipples - all these are signs of changes in your body.
Some women, and especially those that were already pregnant earlier, argue that a successful conception can be felt on an intuitive level. You just need to know what exactly you should listen to.
Embryo development in the first days of pregnancy
Separately existing egg and sperm after connection become a single embryo, which during the normal course of pregnancy will turn into a human. The resulting zygote is already the carrier of a unique genotype. Within 3 days, it can still be divided, which will open up the possibility for the further development of two embryos (twins).
The period when the zygote is attached to the walls of the uterus and before 8 weeks have elapsed is called embryonic. At this time, the chorion is formed (later it will turn into the placenta) and the amnion (the amniotic fluid will form from it). The main purpose of the latter is to protect the fetus from possible infections or mechanical effects. Present in the embryo and gall sac, which can replace the circulatory system. After the 8th week it will resolve.
The existing three germ layers will become sources for the development of organs and necessary systems of the baby. Chief among them is the neural tube. Over time, it will turn into a nervous system. Also during this period, vertebrae, liver rudiments and the basics of the respiratory system develop. And at the end of the 4th week a heart is already forming.
The complexity of conception
Despite the fact that the process of fertilization and the further development of the embryo is studied quite well, there are still often situations where a couple has problems with conception. And no matter how many doctors they have passed, still pregnancy for them remains only a dream. If conception is desirable for you, and you will not wait for the birth of your own child, and pregnancy does not come, you should not be upset. After all, many factors influence conception. Consider which one is bothering you and eliminate the cause of the problem.
So, conception is affected by:
- unfavorable environmental situation;
- the relationship between a man and a woman;
- problems with the reproductive system or any other organs;
- age of the future mother.
Thus, in order to be able to talk about infertility, you both need to be examined. And even in this case, doctors are not in a hurry to make a similar diagnosis. After all, there are pairs for which the “grinding-in” of not only characters, but also bodies is necessary. And how many couples, after several years of unsuccessful efforts, suddenly became parents!
And before you panic, analyze your life and the life of your partner. Perhaps you just need a good rest for a few days (weeks) so that another attempt at conception is successful.
You can also change, for example, the climate, going to where you feel most comfortable. After all, most likely, your problems are associated with an overabundance of stress and excessive workload in daily activities, because pregnancy does not occur.
If you are seriously thinking about conception, then begin to lead a healthy lifestyle and organize the right nutrition for yourself and your partner. Maybe you just do not have enough vitamins or trace elements in order for the reproductive organs to work normally.
And you definitely need to be examined for latent chronic diseases. After their treatment, you will surely succeed, and you will be happy to inform the second half that you have become pregnant.
