I present to your attention another selection of interesting photos of life and events in North Korea. The world media scare the closed regime and the dictatorship of power in this country, but even there people live with their joys and sorrows.
The People’s Democratic Republic of Korea, the DPRK, is a state in East Asia in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. The unofficial name of the country, widely used in the media, is North Korea.
It borders with China in the north, with Russia in the northeast. In the south it borders with the Republic of Korea and is separated from it by a demilitarized zone. From the west it is washed by the waters of the Yellow Sea, from the east - by the Sea of Japan. The capital is Pyongyang.
The population of the country is 24,720,407 people, area: 120,540 km² (dry land 120,410 km², water: 130 km²).
These photographs were taken by the photographer Carl Court in August 2018, the majority in Pyongyang.
